With news of the imminent release of James Bond’s ‘Spectre’ in November, it’s only right that Omega tease the public with the first glimpse of the new timepiece the
eponymous hero will be sporting.

The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Master Co-Axial Limited Edition is a stunning watch in itself but tailor making it for Mr James Bond is a whole other level. Whilst many of its features are being kept a firm secret, Omega have released just enough information to keep us going until we see more at Basel World in March.
What we do know is the timepiece will carry a movement that will be resistant of magnetic forces up to 15,007 Gauss – a feat made even more special when you remember that Omega were the first watchmaker to create a mechanical watch that could withstand 15,000 Gauss. To further commemorate the occasion, this James Bond Seamaster Aqua Terra will be a limited production of only 15,007, combining Omega's ground breaking anti-magnetic achievement with Agent James Bond’s 007 status.

Following tradition with previous James Bond pieces, the watch will sport tributes to the MI6 agent  - such as the ‘Skyfall’ Seamaster Planet Ocean with the 7 0’clock replaced with the ‘007’ logo. Whilst no official pictures have been released, the oscillating weight visible through the exhibition back will be shaped in the iconic James Bond gun barrel. Meanwhile the blue dial is adorned with the Bond family coat of arms contrasted against the yellow features such as the second hand, also tipped with the Bond family coat of arms.

Only time will tell how these distinctive features will relate to the new Bond adventure ‘Spectre’ when the film is finally released in November.
