Dial: A beautiful white enamel dial with Arabic numeral and outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial and intricate gold hour and matching minute hands and a sub seconds hand.

Case: The unusual matt finished 18ct yellow gold case set with a crown on the front cover with seven diamonds and five rubies with plain matt finished back. The case has Swiss hallmarks for 18ct. The inner cuvette shows the Medaille D' Or won in 1895 in Bordeaux and the Medaille D' Honneur won in 1896 in Paris

Movement: The jewelled Swiss keyless lever movement is unsigned.

The crown is that of a Count. This watch must have been made for a member of the European aristocracy. It has it's original beautiful presentation box signed E. Peter Uhrmacher (watchmaker) St Gallen
