A heavy 18ct yellow gold Full Hunter keyless minute repeater pocket watch, C1900s.

Dial: A beautiful and clear white enamel dial unsigned with Roman Numerals and subsidiary seconds dial fitted with blued steel spade hands.

Case: A very heavy gold case full hunter with plain sides on the front and back of the watch. The case was made by one of England's finest Pocket Watch case makers of his time, Frederick Thoms. The one feature of this case is the anti theft pendant which swivels. The hallmarks date the case for 1900.

Movement: The unsigned but numbered English made 3/4 plate lever movement fully jewelled to the centre arbour with raised barrel and minute repeater mechinism hidden under the dial.

It is rare to find an English made minute repeater as most pocket watches were predominantly Swiss made around this period of time.
