A.Lange & Sohne. A Rare 18ct Rose Gold Half Hunter Keyless Lever Pocket Watch C1900

Dial: The excellent white enamel dial with Art Nouveau style Arabic numerals, outer minute track with arabic five minute intervals, The subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock The dial is fully signed A.Lange & Sohne Glasshutte B/ Dresden. The original rose gold plated hands with double spade hour hand with matching seconds hand.

Case: The beautiful 18ct Rose gold case with blued enamel Roman numerals to the front cover. The back cover has an intricate engraved monogram. The inner case back is plain. All the cases are fully signed, hallmarked and numbered. The same case number is on the movement.

Movement: The superb fully signed three quarter plate gilt finished movement being fully jewelled with micrometer regulation, compensation balance and blued overcoil hairspring.

This watch is rare as it is unusual to find Lange watches made in 18ct gold. Most of the watches were made in 14ct gold. The dial is also unusual as it embraces the Art Nouveau era. This watch would make a fine addition to one's collection
