A Massive Full Hunter 18ct Yellow Gold Keywind Fusee Railway Timepiece of Historical interest C1849.

Case: The front cover is beautifully engraved with a railroad locomotive with coal store and carrage attached. The rear cover has a belt and buckle motive which goes around the case. The edge of the case is engraved with flowers. The inner case has a presentation engraving to James C Robinson Springfield Illinois 1852 and a further engraving R Walker Briscoe Kansas 1909 

Dial: A white enamel dial with Roman numerals blued steel Fleur- de- Lys style hands and inscribed Railway Timekeeper (in red writing)  Joseph Sewill Liverpool. There is also a picture of James C Robinson.

Movement: The keywind fusee lever movement with an original dust cover which opens from the front of the watch. The movement has large Liverpool Jewelling and a cut compensation balance. The movement is fully signed and numbered
