Case: The very elegant 18ct yellow gold case with plain back. The back of the case is a snap on single case fully English hallmarked and numbered.

Movement: The unusual movement with keyless lever mechanism bi-metalic compensation balance, fast slow regulator and the hanging barrel for the power of the watch fully signed By Appointment, Cha Frodsham 84, The Strand London.

This is a very unusual watch because of it's size, being made for a lady, possible for a nurse. The feature of the movement is also the hanging barrel which is unusual for a watch of this size.
