Dial: The White enamel dial with roman numerals, outer minute track and subidiary second dial with gold coloured Breguet style moon hands and blued steel seconds hand.

Case: The 18ct yellow gold Swiss hallmarked engine turned case with vacant cartouche to the front cover and engine turned case to the rear cover. The case maker stamp is LBF which was Louis Brandt & Frere. The founder of Omega. The inner cuvette has the full description of the movement, stating that it has has 31jewels.

Movement: The fully jewelled highest quality nickel movement with spiral Breguet hair spring  compensated balance wheel, wolf's tooth winding and slow fast regulation. The visible hammers repeating on two gongs which work perfectly.

This pocket watch is a fine example of the sons founder of Omega in La Chaud- de- Fonds. After Brandt's death in 1879, his sons, Louis-Paul and César, took over the company and expanded it into foreign markets. This pocket watch would make a fine addition to one's collection.
