Henry Capt Quarter Repeating Enamel Half Hunter Pocket Watch Yellow Gold

A quarter repeating keywind enamel half hunter pocket watch. The front and back cover is enamelled in a dark blue starburst guilloche enamel.The back of the case has an initial G set with rose cut diamonds

The front cover has gold coloured Roman numerals and gold coloured inner chemin de fer chapter ring. The signed white enamel Roman dial with blue double spade hands.

The Demi Chronometre quarter repeating keywind lever movement fully jewelled and signed together with a gold key and chain.

The watch is presented in a gold tooled red leather case.

Henry Capt was born in Le Chenit Switzerland. He was a renowed watchmaker and he was also known for making some of the finest gold snuffboxes with automaton scenes and musical playing figures.
